The Administration Department includes the divisions of Communications, Facilities, Finance (includes Eden Prairie Liquor operations), Human Resources, Information Technology and the Office of the City Manager.

The functions of the divisions within the Administration Department range from managing City facilities and Boards and Commissions to public relations, elections and the City budget. Each division in Administration also provides a support role for the City's core service departments.
