The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) and representatives from the FAA attend the regularly scheduled Flying Cloud Airport Advisory Commission (FCAAC) meetings to present and discuss the recent noise complaints from residents. These discussions have resulted in new procedures at the airport to reduce noise. This effort is ongoing.
The FCAAC has endorsed the KFCM Pilot Guide developed by MAC. The guide provides important noise abatement information and procedures at the pilots' fingertips. It has been distributed to all pilots in the field and the airport businesses.
